So, we really like to stop at mom and pop places whenever possible. This is that. The place is very clean, staff fabulous and food really good. I'd go back They still have a 1970s style refrigerated salad bar, that has a nice selection of things on it and the items look great. If you are near by, stop in, you will be warmly greeted and brought a good meal. Not frilly chain stuff, straight forward, fill your stomach and the price wont scare you...........

Old school diner vibe. Very outdated inside but that gives it the charm! Very good food, little $$ for the area but it was a good food stop on our travels. Our waitress was so friendly & kind. Was not busy at all when we stopped in. I ordered the chicken fried steak that had to of been the most tender and delicious chicken fried steak I have eaten. I like them but half the time the breading is too much this one was perfect! My husband got the steak with bacon onions and mushrooms and liked it! Would go back next time we are in town and try a slice of homemade pie.

We are from Texas and the food was delicious. The chicken fried steak was amazing and the pies, I have never had the most delicious pie ever. We got the banana pie and i can’t express how delicious it was. The bananas were fresh and not old, it was not too sweet it was just right. Would I come again YES! This is a must to go place.

Holy cow! This place is amazing! After stopping at the dirty truck stop by the highway, we decided to drive 20 minutes out of our way to eat here. SO glad that I did. Firstly, it's a local mom and pop place, which I always enjoy experiencing. Secondly, the food is absolutely amazing. We stopped on day 11 of a 12 day road trip, so I've had my fair share of mom and pop restaurants to compare this to. In 11 days, this is the best food I've had- including the very expensive splurge dinners. Everything send homemade (soup, salad dressing, everything!). Thirdly, the server misunderstood what I ordered (super minor- I didn't even realize my omelette didn't have veggies until I was done eating) and they comped part of my meal even though I want upset, I just wanted to be sure I didn't get charged for the veggies. The only downside is cost. It's $3 extra for hash browns with an omelette and the omelettes are a bit pricey as well! However, they were so good that it didn't matter!
